Young women's lesson

Today i taught a lesson on Each is Divine and Eternal..the lesson taught that each one of us are Divine and Eternal.. We are all children of God and we should love each other regardless of race social standing ..We should reach out to them who are less fortunate than us, and make them feel loved and wanted..I held up my hand and told the girls that it represents our spirit and then put on a glove and had them put one on. They were all different colors..I Had a old raggedy dirty one I use in gardening which I put on. We discussed the difference in the gloves color, size etc representing our mortal body.. I had them hold up the hand with the glove and then held my up and moved in close to them ... I asked them how they felt about the dirty glove ,and if they could be friends and associate with this person.. they all said no.. they didn't think so..then I passed out scriptures to them one was 1st Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance,or on the height of his stature;because I have not refused him;For the LORD"seeth not as man seeth ;for man look on the out ward appearance ,But the LORD looketh on the heart.. It was a great lesson and my girls feel the spirit of the lesson.. I have a strong testimony of the gospel.. and I know the book of Mormon is true and Jesus died on the cross for us..We should all wonder when we see a person who is dirty and looks unclean, What is in his heart and how he reached that point in life and give them a big smile and say hello .. If we never see them again they'll always remember that act of kindness. and it may be a turning point in their lives.. I myself have experienced this .. and I'm still thankful to those people who were outgoing and giving to me..It was a beautiful lesson. By the way in my last post I said I beared my testimony in church .. I mean't I bore my testimony.. Senior moment.. love to all my Children And May God Bless You in All you do.. Mom ,Grams
